With the opening of Epic Universe, understanding your ticket options is more important than ever. Here’s your guide to navigating the choices for 2025.

Parks Overview

Four incredible theme parks now make up the Universal Orlando Resort.

Universal Studios Florida: Movie-themed rides and attractions.
Islands of Adventure: Thrill rides and immersive lands (including Hogsmeade).
Volcano Bay: Tropical water park experience.
Epic Universe: Newest park, opened May 22, 2025, featuring five immersive lands including Super Nintendo World, Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic, and more.

Standard Ticket Types

1-Park Per Day

Deep diving into one park at a time.

Allows you entry into a single park for the day. A good budget option if you don't need to switch parks, but less flexible for Epic Universe access.

Park-to-Park

Flexibility & Harry Potter Fans.

Allows you to visit multiple parks on the same day. This is required to ride the Hogwarts Express between Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.

Multi-Day Tickets

The Best Value & Epic Universe Access.

The most common way to visit. The per-day price drops significantly as you add more days. This is the primary way non-Passholders can get access to Epic Universe.

Important Ticketing Rule

For most guests, you cannot buy a 1-day ticket to Epic Universe. Access is included as part of a multi-day ticket (usually 3 days or more). Annual Passholders are the exception and can purchase single-day tickets.

Add-Ons & Special Tickets

Universal Express Pass

Skipping the regular lines.

An add-on that lets you bypass the standby line on most attractions. Express Pass for Epic Universe is sold separately from the pass for the other two parks.

Florida Resident & Annual Passes

Frequent visitors and locals.

Florida Residents often get special discounts on multi-day tickets. Annual Passholders have the most flexibility, including the ability to buy single-day tickets to Epic Universe.
